Heidi Klum hasn't been shy about flaunting her new beau, bodyguard Martin Kirsten, since her January 2012 split with Seal. But will the supermodel be taking another walk down the aisle any time soon?
“I don’t think so," the "Project Runway" judge said in the February 2013 issue of Marie Claire. She continued, "Now I don’t think it’s that important. I’m not angry about anything, but I don’t think I will. Maybe if I’m with someone for 15 or 20 years, and we do it in our old age as a fun thing to do... But I don’t have the urgency anymore.”
Klum filed for divorce from Seal in April 2012 after nearly seven years of marriage. The pair has four children together -- Leni, Henry, Johan and Lou.
And while Klum has certainly hit a rough patch or two since the split, she has been able to take the divorce process in stride.
"People say, 'Oh, God, how devastating to go through a divorce,'" she said to the magazine. "Did I wish for this to happen to my family? No. But everyone is healthy; we're moving on with our lives. If someone got [very sick], God forbid, that would be a real problem. It's not what I wanted -- it's not what anyone wanted -- but [the divorce] is not a real problem."
Their reportedly "amicable" split took a turn for the worse back in September when Seal told TMZ that he wished Klum would have "at least waited until [they] separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help, as it were," referring to her then-blossoming romance with Kirsten. Seal's publicist later clarified that he did not mean to imply that she had cheated on him while they were married, but rather that the couple is still technically married since their divorce has yet to be finalized.
Two weeks later, Klum commented on her estranged husband's rant during an interview with Katie Couric. "He has a very unique choice of words," she said. "I'm used to them...I don't love that. It's obviously not true."
