As if we weren't already jealous of the glamorous lives of the ladies of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," this past week's episode made us even more green with envy.
Porsha Stewart, who has spent countless hours (and dollars) decorating the her family's estate herself, brought single mom Kandi Burruss furniture shopping and tried to convince her to splurge a little on her own home.
But it becomes clear pretty quickly that these two ladies have very different mindsets when it comes to decor.
"My approach on decorating, especially if you're in your dream home," Porsha says, "is pick what you like and just buy it." She even goes as far as to explain how she simply signs and asks that the salespeople don't show her the receipts. If she likes it, she's going to buy it no matter the price.
A wide-eyed Kandi points out that hey, that's what you can do when your husband can afford to pay for everything. Our thoughts exactly. If only we could decorate our homes without a budget. Sigh. We can only dream.
