Yeah, we didn't see 'em one coming either (especially with the Golden Globes just days away). But the stars managed to fit in one more big show before the Globes, walking the red carpet on Thursday in Santa Monica to receive awards from the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
And just like at Wednesday's People's Choice Awards, we were stunned by how A-list the guests were -- and how glamorous the fashion was.
Anne Hathaway slinked down the carpet in off-white Oscar de la Renta while her "Les Misérables" co-star Amanda Seyfriend was done up in a dramatic blue lace and chiffon dress by Marios Schwab. Naomi Watts, Jennifer Lawrence and Jaime King went simple in black, while Helen Hunt, Sally Field, Jessica Chastain and Kara Hayward all chose tomato red.
An indicator of things to come at the Golden Globes?
Check out the high fashion parade (and see who won!) at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. If this doesn't get you psyched about Sunday's Globes, then nothing will.
