Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Prove They're Still Buds: J.Lo Cheers For Ex-Fiance As He Wins A Golden Globe (VIDEO)

Jennifer Lopez 'Beaming' As Ex Ben Affleck Accepts Golden Globe Award

Talk about awkward.

Jennifer Lopez was all smiles as her ex-fiance Ben Affleck accepted his Golden Globe for Best Director last night -- and so was his wife, Jennifer Garner.

Affleck, 40, whose film "Argo" also took home the trophy for Best Motion Picture: Drama, was teary-eyed as he thanked his cast, crew and family for their support, telling Garner, "You are my everything." (Sorry, J.Lo).

The former "American Idol" judge, 43, who was escorted to the event by her much younger beau Casper Smart, 25, stood up and cheered for Affleck ... and was apparently glowing. An insider tells Us Weekly that Lopez was "beaming" and "paid close attention to the stage."

But, don't get any ideas ... it's just because she's a supportive former lover.

Affleck revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in October that he and Lopez -- who called off their highly-anticipated wedding in Sept. 2003 due to excessive media attention before officially ending their engagement in Jan. 2004 -- are still friends.

"We don't have the kind of relationship where she relies on me for advice, but we do have the kind of relationship where there'll be an e-mail saying, 'Oh, your movie looks great,'" Affleck revealed. "I remember when she got 'American Idol.' I said: 'This was really smart. Good luck.' I touch base."

"I respect her. I like her," he added. "She's put up with some stuff that was unfair in her life, and I'm really pleased to see her successful."

Obviously, she respects him too.
