Aound 2 p.m., a man told officials that six men, claiming they were members of the media, approached him asking for an interview. The resident says when he tried to walk away, someone zapped him with a stun gun while the cameras rolled.

Cleveland police got a second call around 4 p.m. from a tipster complaining a group of men were filming themselves of using stun guns on others.

Police say Herbert admitted to operating the camera while Solomon jolted victims, WKYC reported. Investigators say Herbert told them they did it "for fun," while Solomon claimed he did what he was told to do.

Authorities were on the lookout for other members of the phony news crew.
