Sade has been a muse to many. Her musical influence is far reaching from Beyonce to legendary rapper Rakim. But her style is just as enduring. Just this year, Jean Paul Gaultier paid homage to Sade's signature style during his Spring 2013 runway show and designer Olivier Rousteing specifically cited the singer's feminine use of menswear as inspiration for Balmain's current spring collection.
