Betsy Brandt Cast As Michael J. Fox's Wife And More Casting News

Betsy Brandt and Michael J. Fox are coupling up.

According to THR, the "Breaking Bad" actress has joined Katie Finneran and Wendell Pierce in Michael J. Fox's new NBC sitcom as Fox character's wife Annie, described as being "tough yet loyal with a goofy side."

Currently starring as Marie Scharder on AMC's "Breaking Bad," Brandt has also appeared on "Parenthood," "Private Practice" and more.

In other casting news...

Major "Office" players are headed back to NBC. Executive Producer Greg Daniels has confirmed that Mindy Kaling, B.J. Novak and Zach Woods will all be making appearances on the final few episodes of "The Office." [Vulture]

Chris Young and Brantley Gilbert are "Nashville"-bound. The country singers will bump into Rayna (Connie Britton) on the musical series while at a party thrown by their label, Edgehill Records. [EW]

Kim Raver is out for "The Secret Lives Of Wives." Lifetime has announced that it won't be moving forward with the Kim Raver-centered pilot which "explored the unvarnished truth behind the marriages of four different women." [THR]
