Doris Day's Hat Is Making Our Day (PHOTO)

Why isn't it summer yet?

Actress Doris Day was the picture of Hollywood glamour in the '50s and '60s. Although she got her start as a singer, she went on to be ranked as the biggest box office star several years in a row. Her coiffed blonde hair, diamond earrings and silk scarves ensured that she always looked the part and made men all over the world swoon. (Day, a Cincinnati native, kept busy -- she was married a total of four times in her life.)

This 1960s-era photograph of Day has us seriously wishing she was our best friend. Pictured here acting silly, Doris is clad in a brimmed straw hat that flatters her round face. And that trench makes us want to play in the rain.
