Cyclist Lance Armstrong recently came forward to Oprah, detailing his use of performance-enhancing drugs, the way in which he bullied those who sought to reveal the truth and how he came clean to his 13-year-old son, Luke, about his decade-old secret.

Despite the lengthy interview, Armstrong made no mention of his ex-fiancée Sheryl Crow, whom he was with during two of his seven Tour de France victories.

According to Celebuzz, Crow was named twice in affidavits submitted to the United States Anti-Doping Association.

First, by Armstrong’s former U.S. Postal Service teammate Frankie Andreu, whom along with his wife, Betsy, have remained anything but mum regarding Armstrong's doping allegations. Frankie's affidavit claims he and his wife were called to Armstrong's hotel room and convinced to retract her statements that Armstrong told doctors treating him for cancer that he had doped. It states, "His girlfriend at the time, Sheryl Crow, was in the room and I felt uncomfortable talking about this in front of her so I did not say much.” Frankie's wife, Betsy, also added in her affidavit that "Lance’s then girlfriend, Sheryl Crow, was in the room and Frankie did not not want to discuss this in front of her."

Crow and Armstrong began dating in 2003. They were engaged in 2005 but split in 2006.

In Sept. 2012, Crow opened up to Katie Couric after Armstrong was stripped of all seven of his Tour de France titles.

"I felt bad. I felt bad for him, I felt bad for his family and I kinda felt like the rest of America,” she said. “He is a hero that we watched and looked up to and admired."

UPDATE: This post has been updated to provide additional details about Frankie and Betsy Andreu's role in the scandal, and language has been amended to clarify the statements about Crow in the affidavits.
