You know him for his restaurants, cookbooks and TV appearances, but now chef Bobby Flay has turned the focus on fitness.
For seven days, Flay, in partnership with the Food Network, shared the seven principles behind his journey to get in shape -- and how they help him stay there today, in a series called Bobby Flay Fit.
As you can imagine, it can be difficult for someone constantly surrounded by food to avoid consuming hundreds of unnecessary -- and often, unnoticed -- calories, he said, a problem he combats with discipline in the kitchen. When it comes to portion control, he tries to eat 25 percent less than what he used to serve himself.
