DOMA Defense Funding Could Be Used For Military Veterans, Homeless Children, HIV Testing: Infographic

Access to transitional living programs for 203 homeless children. Job training for 12,167 military veterans. HIV testing for 75,000 people.

Those are just three of the many programs which could be paid for, with the $3 million set aside by House Republicans to defend the Defense of Marriage Act, or DOMA.

The Center for American Progress has produced this colorful infographic, which suggests nine other productive uses for their funding.
