Technology isn't just fun and games. Tech expert Katie Linendoll showed me a new gadget that can save children's lives when she visited me on Mondays With Marlo. A lot of kids who play sports suffer from concussions, but they aren't pulled out of the game or treated fast enough. This skin patch, which is partnered with Microsoft Technology, will send a signal to a coach or parent when a child needs to be pulled out and given medical care. The patches are currently being used at a number of colleges, and teams are increasingly purchasing the patches to distribute to their players. It's amazing how far we have come!
