The final season of "Spartacus" has premiered, which means we only have 9 episodes left with our valiant gods of the arena before the Starz series triumphantly departs for the afterlife. It will be bittersweet to see the epic series conclude, but it's certain to be a thrilling, blood-soaked ride.
Every week after the West Coast airing of "Spartacus: War Of The Damned" (10 p.m. PT/1 a.m. ET), The Huffington Post will host an exclusive video recap featuring one of the stars of the series. The actors will reminisce with HuffPost TV's Laura Prudom about their experience filming that week's episode, their character's arc, and how they approached the end of the resilient series.
This week, we're talking to Liam McIntyre, who plays our titular hero, about the season premiere, "Enemies of Rome." The above video features spoilers for this week's episode, so make sure you don't watch before you've seen the season premiere.
And if you can't get enough "Spartacus," you can check out HuffPost TV's guide to the new and returning characters you'll see in "War of the Damned" (courtesy of Maureen Ryan), and get an exclusive first look at "Spartacus" star Manu Bennett (Crixus) in his role as Deathstroke on "Arrow."
"Spartacus: War of the Damned" airs Fridays at 9 p.m. EST on Starz.
