Funk legend and Ohio Players frontman Leroy "Sugarfoot" Bonner -- the voice behind "Love Rollercoaster" -- has died.

According to friends and bandmates, Bonner passed away over the weekend in Trotwood, Ohio following a battle with cancer. He was 69.
