Ashlie Tesi, Drunk Woman, Assaulted Mother, Kicked Out Police Car Window, Police Say (VIDEO)

WATCH: Drunk Woman Appears To Kick Out Cop Car Window

An Ohio woman is facing felony charges after allegedly kicking out the window of a police car, showering an officer with broken glass, CBS News affiliate WBNS reports.

According to police in Genoa Township, Ohio, Ashlie Tesi "violently resisted" following an incident in which she assaulted her mother in a parked car, then ran across a highway on Wednesday night. When approached, Tesi reportedly "turned on" officers and threatened to fight them. She was eventually handcuffed and placed in the back of a police cruiser, but the drama didn't end there.

In this surveillance video, Tesi can be seen kicking out the back window of a police cruiser as they prepared to escort her from the vehicle, WBNS reports. Police said the incident was the result of too much alcohol, a claim that Tesi's father disputed.

The woman faces felony counts of vandalism and assault of a police officer.

In her appearance before a judge Thursday, Tesi showed "no sign of the aggression caught on camera at the Genoa Township Police Department," a later report from the station notes.

Earlier this week, a Washington state woman was arrested after she allegedly kicked out the window of a taxi cab after she couldn't pay the $70 fare, according to Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Patch.

In January 2012, a New Jersey man arrested after threatening to shoot people at a Division of Youth and Family Services building kicked through the window of a police cruiser and struck an officer in the chest as he tried to apply leg restraints, Maplewood Patch reported at the time.
