Making pasta from scratch may seem like something only professional chefs and Italians do, but why should they have all the fun (AND be rewarded with the superiority of flavor that is freshly-made pasta)?

Maybe the thought of making homemade pasta makes you nervous. You think the dough will never become smooth, the pasta will break when rolling it out. While all these things can happen -- and probably will when you're first learning -- we have one thing to say about it: buck up. It's the good things in life that are worth fighting for, and homemade pasta is definitely one of those things.

Or maybe you belong to the group who thinks that you'll make homemade pasta one day, when you have all the appropriate tools. To you we say: you don't need a fancy pasta-making machine.
