Bobbi Kristina Brown And Cissy Houston: Which Celebrity Grandparents Have Troubled Grandchildren?

Being a grandparent to a troubled grandchild is a delicate dance. As a grandparent, you may want to get involved in your grandchild’s life and help raise them into a responsible adult, but how do you know if you’re overstepping your boundaries? And if you do take charge, there is always a chance that your grandchild and their parents reject your authority or shut you out.

A very public grandparent/grandchild feud is playing out right now between Cissy Houston, mother of the late Whitney Houston, and Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney’s daughter. In response to Cissy’s recent tell-all book about Whitney, Bobbi tweeted:

Meanwhile, Cissy has reportedly expressed disapproval of Bobbi’s on-again, off-again relationship with her "adopted" brother, Nick Gordon, and is admittedly concerned about her granddaughter’s well-being. Cissy and her granddaughter also have had a dispute over a $20 million inheritance owed to the teenager.
