PHOTOS: Historic Julia Morgan House Hits The Market

Famed American architect Julia Morgan broke the mold for women in architecture, while shaping some of California's most famous landmarks, including Hearst Castle, Mills College and the Fairmont Hotel.

And now one lover of San Francisco's urban landscape can own a piece of her legacy with 1055 Green Street, a classic Italianate villa designed by Morgan herself, on the market now for $7,950,000.

Originally constructed in the 1860s, the house was redesigned by Morgan in 1916. The estate features a three-level, three-bedroom house with seismic upgrades, a one-bedroom guesthouse, two-car garage and manicured gardens.
