We've got house envy, and we've got six degrees of Kanye West to thank for it.
According to the latest issue of Architectural Digest magazine, which features the jaw-dropping Hollywood Hills home of West's G.O.O.D. Music label mate, John Legend, the friends not only share an eye for impeccable design -- and we know Kanye's got an eye for design -- but an interior designer as well.
Los Angeles firm Desiderata Design is responsible for Legend's gorgeous digs, which he shares with his equally gorgeous fiance, Chrissy Teigen.
“Our style is chic and tailored, but also earthy and casual," Legend said of the couple's design aesthetic. "Since this is our first home in Los Angeles, we wanted it to feel right not only for us but also for this city.”
In the feature, which hits newsstands on February 12, lead designer, Don Stewart, reveals his approach to transforming the home, which he says had been renovated within the past decade, but was out of sync with Legend’s and Teigen’s tastes.
“I told John and Chrissy that it reminded me of a Thai temple. That Asian influence was something they responded to, especially since she is half Thai.”
The new house appears to be right on par with the couple's plans to tie the knot sometime this year.
A source reportedly close to the Legend and Teigen told Radar Online last year that the couple planned to marry in North Carolina in January.
While we wait for confirmation on whether or not that actually took place, we'll be drooling over their sunny, midcentury modern home instead.
