Move over, Hugh Grant.
David Walton has been tapped to star in NBC's comedy pilot "About A Boy," based on the 2002 film and novel by Nick Hornby, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Written by "Parenthood" and "Friday Night Lights" creator Jason Katims, the comedy will center on a "bachelor man-child" and his next door neighbor ... who happens to be a young boy.
Most recently seen on Fox's "New Girl," Walton has also appeared on "Bent" and "Perfect Couples."

James Wolk is headed to "Crazy Ones." The "Political Animals" actor will play Zach Cropper, a copywriter at the ad agency where Robin Williams' character works. [TVLine]

Patrick Warburton has been tapped to star in CBS' new comedy pilot. The "Rules Of The Engagement" actor is set to play a recently retired baseball player who finds the adjustment into retirement a little rough. [EW]
Miranda Otto is "Rake"-bound. Otto will star opposite Greg Kinnear in the Fox drama-comedy which follows the "chaotic and comedic life" of criminal defense lawyer Keegan Joye (Kinnear). [Deadline]
