When the final half of the last season of "Breaking Bad" premieres, fans should have their tissues ready.
Bryan Cranston -- who recently won a Screen Actors Guild Award for his portrayal of Walter White on the AMC meth drama -- directed the first episode of "Breaking Bad's " new half-season, and told TV Guide, "There are going to be tears."
Though they're only half-way into filming the latter half of Season 5, "Breaking Bad" star Anna Gunn, who plays Walter's wife Skyler, told TV Guide that at least one series regular knows his/her character will die. "Anybody could go at any time," she explained.
Gunn told TV Guide that the end of "Breaking Bad" "feels literally like the apocalypse. Walt's actions have touched everyone around him, so we are all being affected. The world's crumbling, and you're watching everybody fall apart." She added, "Trust me, it's going to be worth the wait."
"Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan wants viewers to be satisfied when the series comes to an end. “Rightly or wrongly, there will be a conclusive ending," Gilligan told Vulture. "Our story from the beginning has been designed to be close-ended ... You don’t want 10 percent to say [the finale] was great and 90 percent to say it sucked ass. You want those numbers to be reversed."
"Breaking Bad" begins its final run in the summer of 2013.
