If you were underwhelmed by Beyonce's lack of glitz and glam at the Grammys, then prepare to turn that frown upside down.
Bey hung up her simple black and white Osman jumpsuit in exchange for a super sparkly Elie Saab Couture gown for the New York City premiere of her HBO documentary "Life Is But A Dream" on Tuesday night.
The sleeveless, semi see-through beaded gown hugged the singer in all the right places -- and thanks to a few strategically placed strips of beads along the sheer bodice (aka "boob window"), Beyonce narrowly avoided a nip slip. Phew!
We're also relieved that the "Love On Top" songstress is back to her red carpet-slaying ways. That toned down Grammys ensemble really threw us for a loop. Welcome back, B.
Tuesday night was also a family affair with Beyonce's husband Jay-Z, mother Tina Knowles and sister Solange on hand to fete the superstar. And of course there were plenty of fabulous friends in attendance as well, including Selita Ebanks, Chris Rock, Angela Bassett and Oprah Winfrey, who interviewed Beyonce earlier in the day for the upcoming episode of her “Next Chapter” series.
Mama Knowles, who was clearly inspired by her daughter's outfit choice on Sunday night, donned a chic black and white pant suit for the occasion.
Meanwhile our girl crush, Solange, delivered yet another fierce look by rocking a crisp white jacket, tunic and, well, that's all. The afro wearing singer/DJ/model decided to go bottomless for the festivities. Wowzas! It takes some serious sartorial guts and gorgeous gams to pull off this look -- good thing Solange has both.
