Obama Addresses Medicare Costs In State Of The Union Address

President Barack Obama delivered his State Of The Union address last night, during which he talked about his goal to bring down Medicare costs for seniors.

“We’ll bring down costs by changing the way our government pays for Medicare, because our medical bills shouldn’t be based on the number of tests ordered or days spent in the hospital -- it should be based on the quality of care that our seniors receive,” said the President, who received a standing ovation for his remarks on the topic.
