Trey Anastasio At The National Symphony Orchestra: Phish Frontman To Appear In D.C. In May

Well, this is just phantastic news.

Guitar legend and all-around extraordinary human being Trey Anastasio announced this week that he will appear with D.C.'s National Symphony Orchestra on May 22. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

The Phish frontman promises to play a variety of material, from including solo work and classic hits from the band. He's no stranger to the symphony, either: Anastasio has played with both the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

For phans who can't get enough, Anastasio's side project, the Trey Anastasio band, recently announced a handful of west coast tour dates scheduled for this coming April.
