Art Books 2013: February's Required Reading For Aesthetes And Other Art Junkies (PHOTOS)

If the chilly weather is keeping you indoors this month, what better way to stay warm than to cuddle up than with a brand new art book? Be amazed by the first known figurative artworks in "Ice Age Art" or lust after some of the most impressive architecture from the 20th century in the latest from Taschen, simply titled, "Niemeyer."

If big, glossy editions are outside your budget, check out the first volume of Apology Magazine. Created by Vice former editor Jesse Pearson, Apology boasts literature, art, essays and reportage. "It’s a make-your-own-pithy-observation-that-goes-here magazine," Apology's website states.

Enjoy the slideshow of amazing images from art books released this month, and let us know your winter reading list in the comments.
