'Grey's Anatomy': Crash Survivors' Big Move To Save Hospital

Things continue to take unexpected twists and turns on "Grey's Anatomy." The plane crash survivors had already decided to use some of their settlement money to buy Seattle Grace so it wouldn't have to go into bankruptcy. But a financial advisor told them they couldn't own a hospital that they also worked at.

So they came up with what they thought was the best solution. While Owen was in the middle of a board room meeting to sell the hospital, they all came walking in: Derek, Meredith, Cristina, Arizona and Callie. One by one they tendered their resignations.

This certainly isn't going to be good for Cristina and Owen, who seemed to finally be heading toward a good place in their relationship. He felt completely betrayed by their move.

Now it's time to come up with their management company and figure out how to actually run a hospital. All these characters suddenly not being doctors anymore would be a major shift for the show, which may be why they recently introduced all those new interns.

See where the story goes next on "Grey's Anatomy," Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
