'Castle': Alexis Kidnapped As Part Of Larger Plot

Richard Castle found himself in the middle of every parent's nightmare on the latest episode of "Castle." His daughter was abducted from college and being held hostage. It was all part of a kidnapping plot involving a classmate of hers who was the daughter of a wealthy Egyptian man who's made his fair share of enemies along the way.

As they started working the case, Beckett and Castle didn't even realize that his daughter Alexis was involved. When they found her cell phone and it came together, Castle started to fall apart. Beckett was by his side to help him hold it together.

Nathan Fillion's performance in this episode impressed Screen Rant, as did the work of Molly C. Quinn as his daughter. Alexis proved capable, stealing away long enough to get a call in to Castle. While Castle was urging her to run away from her captors, the agents involved in the case discovered something unsettling. The call originated from a cell phone tower in Paris.

The episode had TV Fanatic holding their breath, excited about every twist and turn. And one of their favorite things about the episode is that it's a two-parter, meaning there's even more excitement to come next week.

Come back for more "Castle," Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
