'Real Housewives Of OC': Look Who's Back!

The show that started it all, "Real Housewives of Orange County," is returning to Bravo with new episodes -- and a new cast member.

Season 8 of "Real Housewives of Orange County" kicks off on Bravo on Monday, April 1 at 8 p.m. with Lydia McLaughlin joining returning cast members Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, Gretchen Rossi, Alexis Bellino and Heather Dubrow. This season will also see the return of former cast member Lauri Peterson. According to Bravo, Lauri will rekindle her friendship with some of the ladies and "reveal shocking information that will rock one of the wives' worlds."

This season, look for Vicki to celebrate being a grandma while struggling to keep her relationship with Brooks afloat. Tamra got engaged to Eddie last season, but now the two have to merge their once separate lives when they move in together and try to start their fitness studio. Meanwhile, Gretchen has wedding bells on her mind now that Slade has a job as a radio DJ. Heather will start taking acting jobs and come into conflict with her husband. In Alexis' world, look for her to bond with the new housewife, Lydia, an heiress and owner of a high-end magazine about life in Southern California, who is a devout Christian.
