Charlie Sheen has fired back at the man who has sued "Anger Management" producer Joe Roth for more than $50 million, claiming that his involvement in turning the 2003 movie starring Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler into a television show has gone unpaid for. TMZ reports that the 47-year-old actor filed a declaration against Jason Shuman in his impending lawsuit, stating that he was unaware of his presence in the development of the hit FX show.

What's more, Sheen goes on to claim that the show appealed to him personally due to his well-publicized meltdown in the spring of 2011, including bizarre behavior on set of "Two and a Half Men" and statements about "winning" and "tiger blood" in a televised interview. The website quotes revealing lines from Sheen's statement where he says he joined "Anger Management" because "there had been a lot of publicity over the preceding few months as to whether I might have my own 'anger management' issues" and that "the irony of portraying an anger management therapist (as opposed to an anger management patient) appealed to me."

And as much as he is defending the producer of his new show, Sheen hasn't been as kind about "Men" creator Chuck Lorre in the past, calling him a "sad silly fool" and "low rent, nutless sociopath." In a recent interview with David Letterman in January, Sheen also called his former sitcom a flop: "I am dead, but so's the show."
