First lady Michelle Obama is set to return to hometown for the second time in less than three weeks -- this time, to make a "major" announcement pertaining to physical fitness in schools.

The first lady, who attended the Feb. 10 funeral of slain teen Hadiya Pendleton in Chicago, will be joined by Mark Parker, president and CEO of Nike, at McCormick Place on Feb. 28 to announce news pertaining to their push to bring physical activity back to schools, according to a news release.

Obama and Parker will be joined by Secretary of Education, and former Chicago Public Schools CEO, Arne Duncan, as well as a number of high-profile athletes including tennis star Serena Williams, Olympic gymnastics champion Gabby Douglas, Olympic track and field gold medalist Allyson Felix, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and football and baseball all-star Bo Jackson.

The event, NBC Chicago reports, is part of a two-day tour the first lady will be on to mark the third anniversary of the launch of her "Let's Move" campaign.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Mayor Rahm Emanuel and a "surprise musical guest" will also be on hand for the event.
