Soledad O'Brien: CNN And I Are 'Talking About My Role' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Soledad O'Brien Addresses Rumors

Soledad O'Brien addressed the rumors about her status at CNN during an appearance on Thursday's "Wendy Williams Show."

O'Brien has been in limbo since CNN announced that Chris Cuomo would be taking her place in the mornings. On Wednesday, Page Six reported that she was headed out the door.

On her show, Williams immediately asked O'Brien if the rumors were true.

“We’re talking about my role,” O’Brien said. “As you know, it’s been reported a lot that the morning show is going a different direction. So we’re talking about what ways I can contribute to CNN. Doing stuff I like to do, which is hard-hitting journalism.”

Billboard editor Joe Levy, also on the show, asked her if she was moving to evenings.

“That would be a schedule I would like!” O’Brien said. “I like doing documentaries, I like doing hard-hitting — grilling people is sort of my thing."
