Winning an Oscar is the ultimate award for an actor. It symbolizes recognition, appreciation, respect and popularity from the academy. No wonder then that some actors lose it a little bit when they get on that stage: They cry, they shout, they make weird comments, sometimes they even curse.

From Halle Berry's uncontrollable sob, through Ben & Matt being serious frat boys, to Michael Moore hijacking his award to push his anti-Bush agenda; From Angelina Jolie's incestuous remarks, through Jack Palance's pushups, to Marlon Brando, who rejected his award and sent Little Feather in his place, these stars won big, yet somehow managed to make it awkward for all of us.
