The South Beach Wine and Food Festival kicked off Thursday with Moët Hennessy's The Q, hosted by Paula Deen and Sons.
Over 40 chefs gathered beachside at the Delano Hotel to grill chicken, ribs, brisket and pork butts in a hedonistic celebration of all things barbequed.
Deen arrived in a hot silver number, showing off her new slim physique. And Al Roker was there dishing into some baked beans.
Chef Todd English received The Omaha Steaks Award for Culinary Excellence, NBC 6 reports, for his steamed bun of hoisin-glazed short rib and roasted tenderloin as judged by Rocco DiSpirito, Pat & Gina Neely, and Omaha Steaks’ Todd Simon.
Meanwhile Miami band Suenalo provided the Latin funk jams.
