Ryan Gosling may be one of Hollywood's most desirable men, but that doesn't mean the "Gangster Squad" star isn't sometimes embarrassed by his own super-celebrity status.
In a recent Rotten Tomatoes interview, posted on YouTube on Friday, Gosling erupted in a fit of embarrassed laughter when he was presented with a dish towel emblazoned with hand-drawn images of his face.
The towel is the creation of Colleen Pugh, a New Zealand designer who sells her homemade creations -- including towels, t-shirts and art prints -- online.
Pugh told the New Zealand Herald that she decided to decorate her towels with Gosling's image because of his popularity and because he's "easy on the eye." She has reportedly sold "a couple hundred" of her Gosling towels in the last six months.
"It's like looking at the sun -- I can't stare directly at it," the 32-year-old actor said when faced with his towel doppelgangers.
