Will Bynum Ejected For Punching Tyler Hansbrough In Pistons-Pacers Game (VIDEO)

EJECTED

Pistons guard Will Bynum was ejected from Detroit's home game against Indiana on Saturday after punching Tyler Hansbrough with 8:39 remaining in the game.

The Pacers were up by 20 and inbounding the ball by half court when Hansbrough tried setting a screen on Bynum. After D.J. Augustin got some separation and received the inbound pass, Bynum let out some frustration and punched Hansbrough in the stomach... right in front of the referee.

The officials immediately called a Flagrant Two foul and ejected him.

"It wasn't (done) intentionally but it kind of happened through the course of the game," Bynum said of the ejection, via Brendan Savage of Mlive.com. "The game was kind of physical. It was during the heat of the moment. It was nothing intentional, though."

Despite the ejection, Bynum still led the Pistons with 15 points as the Pacers went on to win 90-72.

UPDATE: Bynum has been suspended for punching Hansbrough.
