Kristen Stewart's Foot Injury Made Daniel Radcliffe Nervous: 'I Just Wanted To Pick Her Up'

Daniel Radcliffe: 'I Felt So Bad' For Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart may have been the injured one, but it was her Oscars presenting buddy Daniel Radcliffe who was in pain.

The "Harry Potter" star -- who admits last night was his first time meeting the "Twilight" actress -- felt terrible for her as she hobbled her way around backstage before revealing the Academy Award winner of Achievement in Production Design.

"I felt so bad," Radcliffe, 23, said at the Governors Ball, according to E! News. "I just wanted to pick her up, put her in my arms and carry her onto the stage."

Instead, it appeared Radcliffe just watched as Stewart struggled to make her way to the microphone sans crutches.

"I probably would have dropped her and opened her wound again," he joked, adding that she is "really, really nice."

Stewart, who looked stunning in a cream Reem Acra gown, cut the bottom of her foot on glass after it was announced that she would be a presenter at Hollywood's biggest awards show. But the 22-year-old star decided to deal with the pain and ditch her walking aids for her bit with Radcliffe.

According to the Associated Press, Stewart ran into Oscar winner Anne Hathaway backstage before she was set to present.

"Please tell me you're going on stage with those [crutches]," Hathaway reportedly asked Stewart.

"Nope," Stewart replied. "I'm gonna hobble."

"Well, break a leg ... Oops!" Hathaway quipped, as Stewart added, "I just hope [the wound] doesn't open up right now."

Thankfully it didn't!
