Laurie Holden understands your frustrations with Andrea on this season of "The Walking Dead."

During the majority of Season 3, Andrea has been shacked up with the Governor of Woodbury, split from Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and co. since the Season 2 finale. Fans have been vocal about their displeasure with some of Andrea's actions including ...

[SPOILER ALERT]

"I completely understand it," Holden wrote to The Huffington Post in an email interview. "She was shacking up with the sociopathic villain of the show ... if they weren’t pissed off, something would be wrong! Believe me, it is all by design and the second half of Season 3 is going to blow people’s minds."

Andrea recently reunited with her former zombie apocalypse survivor cohorts, but if Holden had her way, she never would have left their side.

"If I had it my way, Andrea would never have separated from Michonne and would be comrades in arms with her friends at the prison," Holden told The Huffington Post. "But that wouldn’t make such dramatic and controversial TV."

Fans of "The Walking Dead" comic book written by Robert Kirkman with art by Charlie Adlard should take comfort in knowing that Holden has kept up with her 2D counterpart and admitted she "love[s] the graphic novel!"

Like any season finale of "The Walking Dead," Season 3's will be plenty bloody and "crazy."

"It was a little bit of moving the chess pieces around the board, getting ready to get crazy," executive producer and comic book scribe Kirkman told EW. "Things are going to get crazy pretty soon. There's some big stuff coming."

Will that include Andrea's demise? Well, we'll leave you with Holden's Season 4 hope: "That she lives!"

"The Walking Dead" airs Sundays, 9 p.m. on AMC.
