Actress/designer/music video muse Mischa Barton is trying out a new role: landlady. Real estate blog Zillow notes that the actress has listed her Beverly Hills mansion as a rental for the first time ever at a whopping $35,000 per month.
Barton bought her Beverly Hills home in 2005 for $6.4 million during her run as poor little rich girl Marissa Cooper in the TV series "The O.C." She listed it for the first time in 2010 for $8.695 and then again in 2011, notes Zillow, and it looks like she's content make money while waiting for the perfect buyer.
Who would pay that kind of coin for a rental? Someone who temporarily needs a six-bedroom, 10-bathroom Spanish-style home complete with pool, spa and canyon views. As for the rest of us, we'll be content to look through Barton's real estate eye candy and dream big.
