Erik Brown Allegedly Assaults Teen Relative With Taco Bell Burrito

TACO HELL: Man Allegedly Assaults Teen With Burrito

Plenty of toilets have been assaulted by Taco Bell burritos, but this time, a teenaged human may have been the victim.

Police say Erik Brown, 36, hurled a burrito at the face of his 16-year-old brother-in-law on Feb. 15, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun.

The affidavit states that the teen was arguing with his mother and Brown at his Port St. Lucie home when the boy asked Brown to bring him the Taco Bell burrito. Brown allegedly responded by throwing it in his face "with force." At that point, the boy went into the bathroom, locked the door and called 911, he told officers.

The victim didn't have any injuries, the report states, but did have "burrito cheese, sauce and meat all over his clothing and face." He also told investigators that he was afraid Brown, who lives with him, would be violent in the future.

Officers say that Brown told them he "delivered" the burrito because the teenager was being disrespectful to his mother.

The alleged burrito-chucker was taken into custody on a misdemeanor battery charge, and allegedly threatened to "take care of [the victim]" when he got out.

This isn't the first time someone has been accused of turning food into a weapon. In July, one Florida woman apparently decided revenge was a dish best served cold when she allegedly attacked her husband with a bag of ice cream after catching him with another woman.

In June, a father in Massachusetts was accused of chucking a container of "hot and oily" McDonald's french fries at his 11-year-old daughter.
