U.S. 23 Shooting: Pittsfield Township, Mich. Cops Arrest Man For Allegedly Firing At Traffic

(PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich.) -- A Wisconsin man has been arrested after he was allegedly caught shooting at traffic along a Michigan highway early Wednesday morning.

Pittsfield Township Police say shortly after 12:30 a.m. they received a report of a man dressed in a black trench coat, armed with a gun and firing at vehicles traveling along U.S. Highway 23 near Michigan Avenue, reported the Detroit Free Press.

The police department said officers responded and took a 28-year-old suspect into custody. A sawed-off shotgun was also reportedly recovered.

There were no reports of injury.
