'Catching Fire': Effie Trinket Capitol Portrait Debuts; New Look At 'Hunger Games' Sequel (PHOTO)

First Look At 'Catching Fire'

Today in things to get excited about: Lionsgate has unveiled a new look at "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" with its photograph series "Capitol Portraits." First up to get the portrait treatment: Effie Trinket.

Played by Elizabeth Banks, Trinket is a fan favorite and Katniss Everdeen's Capitol handler; Effie has a smaller role in "Catching Fire," the second of Suzanne Collins' three "Hunger Games" novels.

This is the first official look at "Catching Fire," which Lionsgate has scheduled for release on Nov. 22. The film, one of 2013's most anticipated releases, is a sequel to "The Hunger Games," which grossed over $686 million worldwide. "Catching Fire" reunites Banks with Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Liam Hemsworth and Lenny Kravitz, and adds new cast members Jena Malone, Sam Claflin and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
