Today is National Grammar Day, and in order to celebrate, the software suite Grammarly solicited funny grammar gaffes from their Facebook fans and Twitter followers. They asked their fans to submit the funniest, most awkward grammar-related mistakes observed on signs or in other places.

The contest ran from February 22 to March 1. The person with the funniest submission will receive a $100 Amazon gift card. The winner will be announced today on their blog.

Grammarly checks for more than 250 types of spelling, grammar and punctuation errors, enhances vocabulary usage, and suggests citations.
