It was only a matter of time before fashion magazines started featuring NBA baller Russell Westbrook on their pages. The Oklahoma City Thunder basketball player is arguably catching as much attention for his signature "geek chic" style as he is for his All-Star worthy skills on the court.
FLAUNT magazine is digging Westbrook's creative self-expression, which includes a plethora of printed shirts and lensless glasses. The luxury fashion and culture glossy tapped the NBA's resident dapper dude to cover its current issue, marking the first time it has used a professional athlete for the coveted honor. And by the looks of the eye-catching images it might not be the last.
Dressed in a black-and-white printed shirt, red jeans, over-sized aviator sunglasses and a pair of leather driving gloves, Westbook looks every bit the model in the cover photo. Inside the issue, we get to see even more of the famed point guard's bold and colorful side. There aren't too many men that can pull off a teal mosaic printed cardigan, yellow jeans and technicolored kicks. Sharp!
