January Jones' portrayal of "Fat Betty" left a hefty mark on Season 5 of "Mad Men." In an interview with Fashionista, Jones says the experience of acting with a prosthetic fat suit helped hone her craft.
"It was a study in acting in a way because I was very limited in my movements and everything had to be portrayed in my face, in my eyes. So it was challenging but I thought they did a really good job with it," Jones explained.
New images from the upcoming "Mad Men" Season 6 seem to suggest that Betty figured out a way to lose the weight.
Jones also told Fashionista that "there will be more of the Betty character this season" now that her young son is a little older. She previously told Vulture that Betty would be getting into some "weird stuff" in the new season.
The two-hour Season 6 premiere of "Mad Men" airs on Sunday, April 7 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
