Back in May 2011, Springfield was arrested for DUI after police pulled him over for speeding down the Pacific Coast Highway, according to Rolling Stone. Springfield took to his Facebook page to explain the situation to fans on Friday.
My home away from home. Lost hills sheriff station. Arrested this am on a bench warrant. I didn't know that I was supposed appear in court a few weeks ago. It was to do with the old DUI charge and it's been cleared up and i am free to go. Thought I might miss the gig tonite but I will be there and we will celebrate together. Life is not boring. XOXO

In 2000, the Sydney native was arrested for spousal abuse. Officers received a call about an incident and when they arrived at Springfield's Malibu, Calif., home they found his wife, Barbara Springthorpe, with "minor injuries to her face and arm."
