A new season of "Mad Men" is almost here and viewers didn't have to wait more than a year to see it.

In HuffPost TV's exclusive "Mad Men" recap below, series creator Matt Weiner and the show's stars dissect the final moments of Season 5 and hint at what's to come with "Mad Men" Season 6.

Season 5 saw the shocking death of Lane Pryce and the firm dealing with the fallout, including guilt associated with his suicide.

"The company has really never been in better shape, so it was kind of a weird juxtaposition of the company rising and still being in this very emotionally difficult place," Jon Hamm says in the video below.

Hamm's Don Draper was also struggling with Megan's (Jessica Pare) new independence. Meanwhile, Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) struck out on her own, Pete lived the life of Don and the company was on the up and up.

"Mad Men" Season 6 premieres Sunday, April 7 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
