Flash Mob Marriage Proposal: Woman Pops The Question To Boyfriend (VIDEO)

WATCH: Woman's Flash Mob Proposal Has A Surprise Ending

Flash mob marriage proposals are surprising enough, but one couple's flash mob engagement included a few extra twists.

Brittany Jones organized a flash mob at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City to propose to her boyfriend, Austin Spitler, local news station KFOR reported Monday. Spitler had been on a church mission trip for two years, so Jones recruited a few choreographers and dancers to surprise him when he arrived at the airport. After the performance, she pulled out a ring, got down on one knee and popped the question.

“I’ve waited two long years for you. I’d wait an eternity to have you as my husband. Will you marry me?” she said.

Spitler said "yes" -- then turned around, took a ring out of his backpack, and proposed to Jones himself.

He said he wasn't upset that Jones proposed first; in fact, he said it was "the greatest day of my life."

Watch the video above to see both proposals. Though flash mob proposals aren't the most common way to pop the question, it's even less common for a woman to propose to a man. According to a study released last year, none of the 277 heterosexual participants surveyed said they would want a woman to pop the question. But it isn't unheard of -- check out one woman's Mario-themed proposal to her boyfriend.
