"The Office" could have looked very different. Rainn Wilson shared a photo of the sign-in sheet from the first day of the show's casting (November 6, 2003) on Facebook and it includes some very famous names.
On the list, you can see Adam Scott of "Parks and Recreation" and "Party Down" fame auditioned for the role of Jim; "24" actress Mary Lynn Rajskub read for Pam; "The New Adventures of Old Christine" alum Hamish Linklater also read for Jim; and "Bridesmaids" actor (and Melissa McCarthy's husband) Ben Falcone and "Suburgatory" star Alan Tudyk both read for the role of Michael Scott.
"The Office" casting director gave Wilson the sign-in sheet as a gift after the series wrapped production on March 16.
