'Survivor: Caramoan': Tribal Shakeup Leads To Incredibly Lopsided Teams (VIDEO)

'Survivor' Shakeup

After Brandon Hantz' explosive departure last week from "Survivor: Caramoan," the tribes may have thought things would settle down. But Jeff Probst dropped an early bombshell on them this week. Instead of a reward challenge, they were switching tribes.

While the switch was done randomly -- bursting eggs filled with two colors -- the results appeared anything but random. The new Gota tribe was stacked with young, attractive and physically intimidating players. The new Bikal tribe had misfits like Phillip and Cochran.

Right away, the new dynamics came into play as the next challenge was a grueling and physically demanding task. It wasn't even close. Even worse, the fans found themselves outnumbered four-to-three on both tribes. Unless something dramatic happens, this is a favorites season to win.

Staying true to the "Fans vs. Favorites" subtitle, the favorites united on Bikal and targeted the weakest fan in their midst, Julia. But Cochran noted a strong friendship between Matt and Michael, convincing his tribe to instead break them up. In a surprise at tribal council, it was Matt who was booted from the game.

The fans are down to five players to the favorites' eight. Do any of them stand a chance? Tune in to "Survivor: Caramoan" to find out on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
