No. 1 seed Louisville will face No. 8 seed Colorado State in the third round of the NCAA Tournament in the Midwest Region.

Russ Smith scored 23 points for the Cardinals and set an NCAA Tournament record with eight steals on the night as Louisville trampled No. 16 North Carolina A&T. The Big East champions advanced with a final score of 79-48 over the Aggies. No. 8 Colorado State overwhelmed No. 9 Missouri on the glass and advanced to the third round.

The winner in this matchup on March 23 will advance to the Sweet 16.
